Gwyneth Paltrow Debuts ‘Burning Cop Car’ in New Woke Candle Line

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has found massive success with a second career as a candle-maker. Her latest scent is a break from previous best sellers, which were inspired by her own body odors.

On the heels of best sellers “This is How My Vagina Smells” and “This is How My Orgasm Smells,” the Academy Award winner is now taking inspiration from current events.

On Tuesday, Paltrow unveiled “This is How Burning Cop Car Smells,” a new candle scent specially engineered to bring racially charged riots home to her fans.

“I knew I had to do something,” the Shallow Hal star said. “Many people are unable to get out there to join the looting and rioting, so I felt I needed to make a scent that brings the activism home.”

Like previous Paltrow burners, the 10.5 ounce candle sells for $75 at, where it boasts the colorful description: “A scent for the woke at heart. Burning Cop Car blends the smells of lighter fluid and smoldering engine oil. Melting plastic tops off this trio of scents.”

Paltrow says additional woke scents will be released next month, including “Smells Like Molotov Cocktail” and “Smells Like White Guilt.”
